Enjoy marinated, spit‑grilled pork tacos with pineapple, onion, and cilantro, served with a side of refried beans with bacon. Suggested donation: $12 per adult plate. Monday Women's Group Foundations of Faith: A Journey Through the Catechism of the Catholic Church a 20-week video series. Many people have children who are struggling to embrace their Catholic faith or have left the church entirely. The Millions of Monicas prayer ministry supports mothers in this situation. Following the example of St. Monica, these mothers come together once a month at St. Alice to persevere in prayer for the their children's joyful return to full unity with the Catholic Church. Meetings are help on the first Monday each month from 7:00pm to 8:00pm in the church.

The group meets on the first and third Saturday each month at 10:30am to prepare sack lunches for the homeless, which are then delivered in the Springfield area to homeless. Most importantly, the group prayers for the homeless and provides resources. Please note that group typically makes the lunches in the Parish Center kitchen, but the location can vary depending on church activities.

Volunteers set up on the 2nd and 4th Friday of each month. During the Winter months, the group serves a hearty lunch from 12pm to 2pm at Island Park located at 200 West B Street, Springfield, OR 97477. Not only is there a food tent to sit and enjoy a meal, there's also a resource table as well as a donation table with free clothing, shoes, hygiene products, socks, and blankets. St. Alice's Homeless Ministry will continue to bring food and Jesus to those on the streets on the first and third Saturday of each month.

During Lent, the St. Alice community will serve a meatless "Soup Supper" at 6:30pm immediately following Stations of the Cross. At least one soup will be gluten-free and dairy-free. We never know what we get, but it's all good. There is no charge for the meal.

Mision Mariana will take tamale preorders after Mass on February 7 & 8, as well as February 14 & 15. Tamale options include cheese, chicken, and pork. The price is $36 per dozen. Pre-ordered tamales will be available for pickup on Sunday, February 22. Also on Sunday, parishioners can enjoy two tamales and a drink for $10.
